Mellon Helps New York Bombard Cincinnati
The New York Titans cruised to a win over the Cincinnati Twins, 20-4, at Cincinnati Grounds. Ryan Mellon led the way, going 2-for-4 for New York. Lao Lum got the win, improving to 1-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 11 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 0. Cincinnati now is 1-8.

New York used the hitting of Yin-ti Huan to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Titans on top, 15-2. For the game, Huan had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
