Min-yul Lee made an impact in the 11-7 Phoenix win over Minneapolis. Lee, who finished 5th in the WC in hits with 176 in 2081, went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. The Thunderbirds move to 29-54 with the win, while the Vikings drop to 47-36.

The Thunderbirds got a big hit from center fielder Najib Tawfiq. Facing Minneapolis pitcher Katsuo Nozawa in the bottom of the fifth, Tawfiq pounded a 2-run double to left. His 5th double of the season put the Thunderbirds ahead, 10-6.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Lee said after the game.
