The Chicago Phantoms had no problem beating the Kansas City Athletics, 12-2, at Ballpark of Missouri. Zhong-shan Geng led the way. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for Chicago. Craig Kruppenbacher was the winner. "There were things that we could've improved upon," said Phantoms manager Sam J, "but all in all, I'm satisfied with our performance."
