Ricky Zika, who finished 5th in the WC in strikeouts with 220 in 2075, propelled his team to victory over the Las Vegas Aces. The final score was 11-7, Houston. The victory makes Houston 5-4.

Shane Ausmus had a big run-scoring double for the Aquas in the top of the second inning. With Houston leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from 24-year old left-handed pitcher Yolber Ajete and swatted a double to left. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aquas ahead, 2-0.

"Ricky showed what he's made of," said Houston manager Brandon Coroian.
