Browns Rally For 7-5 Win
|
The Miami Cyclones got a superb performance from left fielder Charlie Cole, but the Brooklyn Browns still won the game, 7-5. Cole was 3 for 5 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Brooklyn is now 38-41, while Miami is 34-46.
Cole Chermak came through with a big-time hit for Brooklyn. The catcher smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 7-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"I don't feel you win baseball games by working harder than the other team or 'wanting it more,'" Chermak told the Brooklyn Citizen. "You win just by scoring more runs."
