Browns Get Clutch Win Versus Boston
The Brooklyn Browns faced a tough opponent in Boston pitcher Adrian Portuondo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Arrington Park by a final score of 5-4. Portuondo went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run. The loss drops the Greens to 3-5.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Kingsley Bozek came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Boston pitcher Dan DuBois, he hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Brooklyn on top, 5-3.

Said Boston manager Matt Glazer: "They just got the better of us."
