Houston beat Las Vegas on the strength of starting pitcher Yadisniel Saez's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Saez picked up the win for Houston, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. The win takes Houston to 4-4.

Tadasu Tamba had a big run-scoring double for the Aquas in the top of the second inning. With Houston leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a slider from 33-year old right-handed pitcher Brian Burda and swatted a double to right. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aquas ahead, 2-0.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Saez said.
