Leija Swings Glaciers to 7-4 Win
A good performance from third baseman Alexjandria Leija helped the Denver Glaciers defeat the Seattle Arrows, 7-4. Leija went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 for the Glaciers. Seattle falls to 1-6.

Chris Eighmy had a big run-scoring double for the Glaciers in the bottom of the third inning. With Denver leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from former first round draft pick B.J. Terriquez and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Glaciers ahead, 2-0.

"Pedal to the metal" is how Denver manager Todd Bleess described his team's approach.
