Titans Topple Arrows with Late Rally

The New York Titans faced a tough opponent in Seattle pitcher Dave Fife, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Polo Grounds II by a final score of 4-2. Fife went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Stephen Keane notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-1. Seattle's current losing streak is now 4 games.
New York took a 4-2 lead on Dave Yerges's 12th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Yerges hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Seattle pitcher Eric Arellano visibly frustrated.
