Aces Rally to Eke Out Win
The Las Vegas Aces turned back the Vancouver Wolves, 5-4, at Western Coliseum. Chris Zamarron, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 2 for 6 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Aces, at 38-37, sit in third place in the Western Conference Michael Fridy Division.

The Aces got a clutch hit from right fielder Venceslau Pontes. In the bottom of the 14th, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Aces.

"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Zach Meinen. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
