The Maine Lobster rode a solid performance from 24-year-old starting pitcher Ted Ayres to a win, beating the Havana Metropolitanos, 5-1, at Estadio Latinoamericano. Maine bumps their record to 39-35 with the win.

Maine used the hitting of William Sanjines to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Lobster on top, 3-1. For the game, Sanjines had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
