Houston pitcher Yadisniel Saez had a large part in his team beating the Vancouver Wolves, 5-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The first-place Aquas have won 5 in a row.

Ricky Zika had a big 3-run home run for the Aquas in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Houston trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a fastball from Li-hong Ho, who is tied for 2nd in the WC in complete games with 1, and punished it. The result was his 13th home run of the season, which put the Aquas on top, 4-2.

"Yadisniel's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Brandon Coroian, the Aquas manager.
