The Santiago Avispas romped over the Toronto Juggernauts, 11-3, at Estadio Guillermón Moncada. Brandon Nofziger led the way. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times for Santiago. Roberto Davila got credit for the win, improving to 2-0. He allowed 2 runs on 8 hits in 5 innings. Gustavo Palacios wrapped it up, recording his 1st save.

In the bottom of the fourth inning of a 2-2 tie, Santiago second baseman Dustin Siepker reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put Santiago on top, 3-2.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Toronto skipper Marc Arnold.
