Browns Win 3-2 Walk-Off
|
Starting pitcher Vince Tozier gave the Brooklyn Browns a rock-solid effort. The Rimouski, Canada native helped his team defeat the Miami Cyclones, 3-2, at Brown Town. Brooklyn pitcher Kyle Burch got the win. He's now 3-0. Chris Herdegen was tagged with the loss. Brooklyn, now 34-39, holds down third place in the Eastern Conference Paul Pagac Division.
Carmine Citti was the walk-off hero for Brooklyn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Browns left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"That game was intense," Citti said.
