Muranaka Lifts Greens to 9-1 Win
With shortstop Ginjiro Muranaka leading the charge, the Boston Greens defeated the Montreal Harfangs, 9-1, at Arrington Park. Muranaka, who finished 5th in the WC in triples with 7 in 2076, went 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Shaun Chugh, who led the WC in ERA with 2.17 in 2075, was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed no runs on 2 hits, with 4 walks and 6 strikeouts. The Greens raised their record to 31-41.

With Boston leading 6-1 in the bottom of the eighth, Muranaka came up to bat against Montreal pitcher Alex Villalobos. Muranaka hit a sinker to left-center for a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Greens on top, 9-1.
