The Cincinnati Twins cut down the St. Louis Gaedels by the score of 6-1, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Leo Reyes. Reyes went 2 for 3 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Twins. The winner in relief was Avery Slade. He is now 2-2. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings.

Reyes had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Mike Gonzales, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Twins a 4-1 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Reyes.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Reyes.

The 'W' lifts Cincinnati's record to 37-35.
