Late Charge Gets Minneapolis 4-2 Win
Western Coliseum was the site of a competitive game between the Las Vegas Aces and Minneapolis Vikings.

The Minneapolis Vikings scooped up a win at Western Coliseum, dumping the Las Vegas Aces, 4-2. Vismay Falcon, who finished 2nd in the WC in wins with 16 last year, was essential to his team's success. Zee-loo Kim was credited with the save for Minneapolis, his 15th of the season.

Gentaro Arakawa came through with a big-time hit for Minneapolis. The designated hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Vismay made some good pitches in some situations he needed to make them in," said Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan.

The Vikings are now 44-30.
