The bat of Omar Ozoa helped the Minneapolis Vikings top the Phoenix Thunderbirds, 7-1. Ozoa went 1-1 with a home run and 3 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for Minneapolis. Minneapolis currently is in first place in the Western Conference Mike Stump Division at 45-28.

With Minneapolis leading 2-0 in the top of the first, Ozoa hit a fastball from Eikki Hostikka for a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Vikings ahead, 5-0.
