Eighmy Slugs 3 Homers, Glaciers Get 14-9 Win
The Denver Glaciers topped the San Diego Destroyers, 14-9, with first baseman Chris Eighmy playing a big role. Eighmy slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times for the Glaciers in the win. The Glaciers raised their record to 39-33.

With Denver leading 8-5 in the top of the sixth, Eighmy hit a fastball from Victor Balaguer for a 3-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Glaciers ahead, 11-5.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Eighmy.
