Rangers Tag Spectres with 10-4 Loss
|
The Buffalo Rangers used the hitting of first baseman Cole Hickey to subdue the Philadelphia Spectres, 10-4. For the game, Hickey went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The Rangers lead the Eastern Conference Jossue Lopez Division by 4½ games.
Buffalo used the timely hitting of Charlie Cole to capture the win. The right fielder stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rangers on top, 8-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but he made it count.
When asked about his performance after the game, Hickey said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
