Alaska second baseman Carlos Guadamuz was instrumental in helping the Kodiaks triumph, 8-5, over the Washington Senators. Guadamuz was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. The Senators had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Kodiaks going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the former first round draft pick Emilio Oregon came to the plate.
