The Boston Greens and Maine Lobster squared off at Arrington Park.

Riding the 3-hit performance of the 26-year old first baseman Bill McNeil, the Boston Greens defeated the Maine Lobster, 9-2. The second-place Greens are now 39-31, the Lobster 37-34.

Lupe Corona had a big 2-run double for the Greens in the bottom of the second inning. With Boston leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Felix Talamantez, who led the EC in wins with 18 in 2078, and swatted a double to center. It was his 19th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Greens ahead, 3-0.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Matthew McExpos.
