The Maine Lobster took Montreal pitcher Henry Escobedo's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Mount Royal Park. The final score had Maine getting past the Harfangs, 3-2. Escobedo went 7.1 innings and allowed no runs, striking out 3. Abel Downey notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-1. Picking up the save was 24-year old left-handed pitcher Masato Nishihara.

Barry Kearney came through with a big-time hit for Maine. The second baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 3-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We hit some balls hard and didn't get rewarded for it," said Montreal manager Brendan Henry.

The 4th-place Lobster now sit at 33-38.
