Phantoms Suffer 8-3 Home Defeat
Wade Belk, who finished 4th in the EC in strikeouts with 246 in 2071, had a strong outing for the Vancouver Wolves against the Chicago Phantoms at Foster Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 8-3 win. Vancouver bumps their record to 33-37 with the win.

Yuan Zhu was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Vancouver. The 24-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off R.J. Mendenhall. It was his 33rd RBI of the season.

"It never gets old," said Zhu. "Winning, that is."
