Colin Cuyler was instrumental in his team's 7-6, extra-inning triumph over the Buffalo Rangers. The center fielder went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for the Philadelphia Spectres. Philadelphia occupies third place in the Eastern Conference Benito Cossutta Division at 35-36.

Cuyler had a game-changing home run in the top of the 11th. On a 1-0 cutter from Nees van Santen, he banged a 3-run home run to left-center, giving the Spectres a 7-4 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Cuyler.

"It was a test of wills," said Ryan Huff, the Philadelphia skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
