The Portland Dragons beat the San Diego Destroyers, 3-1, in 10 innings. Portland pitcher and El Vigía, Venezuela, native Wil Campos led the way. Luke Torres earned the save, his 1st. Portland, at 33-37, holds down third place in the Western Conference Eddie Izurieta Division.

Though he did not get the decision, Campos did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 8 innings, until Portland eventually rallied past the Destroyers.

"We didn't let this one get away," said Campos.
