The Boston Greens knocked off the Maine Lobster, 5-2, in Eastern Conference action at Arrington Park. Boston pitcher and Burlington, North Carolina, native Javy Alejo had an outstanding performance. Boston is in second place in the Eastern Conference Zach Gavula Division with a record of 38-31.
The Greens got a big at-bat from second baseman Travis Glazebrook. For the game, Glazebrook was 2 for 3 with a double and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 9th double of the season gave Boston a 1-0 lead.
Boston manager Matt Glazer called it "a pretty good win."
