The Los Angeles Stars downed the Minneapolis Vikings, 8-0, at Minneapolis Grounds. Los Angeles pitcher Danny Serrano definitely brought his A-game. The loss makes Minneapolis 42-27.
Serrano ran roughshod over the Minneapolis lineup. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 6. With the victory, he goes to 4-4 on the season.
"Danny is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Los Angeles manager Pat Kaers.
