Santiago registered a win at Estadio Guillermón Moncada by beating the Miami Cyclones, 5-2. Pitcher Roberto Davila was one reason why the Avispas triumphed. Davila got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 3 hits and walked 4 over 6.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Raul Ontiveros was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 3 of 3 save opportunities.
