The Chicago Phantoms, despite a fine performance by Vancouver pitcher Jarrod Beckman, grabbed a 3-2 win at Foster Field. Beckman allowed no runs over 7 innings. The win belonged to Aaron Narduzzi in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Cody Goings took the loss for Vancouver. The Western Conference Michael Fridy Division-leading Phantoms are 41-29.

Dave Stofer delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Phantoms. For the game, Stofer drew 2 walks.
