In a low-scoring affair between the Toronto Juggernauts and the Havana Metropolitanos, pitcher Daniel Taylor was the difference between victory and defeat. The Toronto right-hander earned kudos in the 3-2 Juggernauts win. De-shi Wen notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Hiromu Murakami? The 25-year old left fielder Murakami stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put Toronto up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 2, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Havana skipper Kevin Mayerhofer, "and it cost us."
