Suyama Silences San Francisco Bats
Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the San Francisco Friars home opener. Lyalya Markosiants started for the home team against Omezo Suyama for the Las Vegas Aces. The Friars were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 3-0, Las Vegas. Omezo Suyama, though, was impressive.

Suyama's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 11 strikeouts in 6.1 innings while allowing 1 hit. Suyama, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2084, goes to 1-0 on the year with 11 strikeouts.

"Main thing is I want the team to win," Suyama told a reporter after the game. "Just have to go out there, take care of my job, and give my team a chance to win."
