 | Green Belts 5 Hits Saturday, August 14th, 2027: It was a big day with the bat for Ken Green of the Lodi Heat at Ballpark of Stottville as he bashed out hit after hit after hit to defeat Stottville 2-0. After the game he said, "Guys, it's just one game in a long season. I hit it hard and found some holes today. 5 hits in 5 tries. But my hits are not the big thing in the game. The victory is the important thing. That's the story." At the end of the game Green had collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats and a small mention in the record book. He was happy. He had a big day with the bat. And the Heat had won. Ken Green singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this year Green has hit .266 with 3 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
