 | Penruddock Pitches Emeralds to Shutout Win Tuesday, August 10th, 2027: Bob Penruddock was sneaky fast, on the mark and hard to hit today. He blanked the Lubbock Legionaires 8-0 on 4 hits and had no walks and 6 strikeouts. "You know what he's going to throw. You know what to expect. And you still can't hit it," the Lubbock skipper told reporters after the shutout loss to the Whisper Walk Emeralds. "He just had a real deceiving fastball today and he was throwing it for strikes." Currently Penruddock has a 13-1 won-lost record in 21 starts with a 1.23 ERA. He also has 98 strikeouts in 161 innings. |
