 | Inomata Sparkles, Blanks Potosi Thursday, July 15th, 2027: Guanajuato starter Torazo Inomata really did a number on the Anacondas today, shutting them out 7-0 on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued no walks and had 12 strikeouts. In his postgame comments, the Potosi manager said, "We didn't have good at-bats. I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting... seeing as our team has a bunch of pretty good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Torazo... he did an outstanding job today." Inomata has gone 11-3 this season with an ERA of 2.81 and 70 strikeouts in 102.1 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .221 against him. |
