 | Orinda Comes up Empty Against Machado Friday, July 2nd, 2027: In an outstanding outing, Mauro Machado tamed Orinda on a 4-hit shutout. The Chandler hurler went the distance, finishing with 7 strikeouts and no walks in the 7-0 win. "He had a lot of first pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to the Orinda manager. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today." Checking out his stats for the season, Machado has racked up 10 wins and 2 losses in 16 starts, 2.27 ERA and struck out 90 batters in 119 innings. |
