Tuesday, June 29th, 2027: Earlier today, Vancouver center fielder Leonard Weber had to leave the game against Birmingham because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn anterior cruciate ligament and will miss 9-10 months of play. Weber was hurt running the bases and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians.
This year Weber has hit at a .259 clip with 73 hits, 4 home runs, 29 RBIs and 34 runs scored. | |
