 | Varone Whips Bakersfield Friday, June 18th, 2027: Riccardo Varone of the Colorado Springs Admirals was masterful today, pitching a 3-hit 3-0 shutout against the Bakersfield Recoil and giving his bullpen a rest by going the distance. According to his manager, "He had command of every ball and every pitch... great location, too." Varone had 2 strikeouts and issued no walks in an impressive outing. This season to date Varone has a record of 10 wins and 2 losses with a 1.74 ERA, has appeared in 14 games and struck out 65 in 114 innings. |
