 | Francis's Hit Streak Over Sunday, June 13th, 2027: Whisper Walk triumphed over Rhinelander today 3-2. However, that was not the whole story. Emeralds first baseman Richard Francis failed to get a hit for the first time in 22 games. Francis went hitless in 4 at-bats and had his streak broken. Commenting to reporters at his press conference, he said, "Some days the past few weeks I carried the club, today they carried me. No matter what, it is always good to win a ballgame." So far this year Francis is hitting .355 with 1 home run. |
