 | Bryant Whitewashes Metros Friday, April 30th, 2027: Birmingham hurler George Bryant put on quite a show today as he blitzed the Halifax Metros with a 11-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 6 hits with 5 strikeouts and no walks to pick up the win. The opposing manager told reporters after the game, "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball." Currently Bryant has a record of 4-0 with 26 strikeouts and 7 walks in 34.2 innings and a 0.52 ERA. |
